Rob Mitchell began in motion picture after graduating from Ryerson's Radio and Television Arts programme in Toronto. Motion picture work followed as he learned the craft through employment at various Toronto film companies including

• Film House
• Quinn Labs
• Film Sound Services
• Canadian Broadcasting Corporation

He moved on to commercial still photography where he developed an extensive client list including Kodak, Konica Films, Sunquest, Pizza Pizza, CNE, Canada's Wonderland, Calgary Stampede, Sony Canada and Northern Telecom.

On the music side, he has had personal shoots with the Rolling Stones, Santana, Rod Stewart, Frank Sinatra, Beach Boys, Toots and the Maytals, Guess Who, Willie Nelson. BB King and Jimmy Cliff.

Shooting may be done on any format from film to Digital Video.
